The Gospel of Matthew

Discover the Gospel according to Matthew, one of Jesus' 12 disciples, written particularly for a group of Jewish Christians living in a larger context of the Jewish community.  Often called the "church gospel", we will learn how Jesus came to create a new community of faith.  From the birth narrative, throughout stories and parables, the Sermon of the Mount, the life and death of John the Baptizer and ending with the passion narrative and resurrection of Christ, Matthew challenges the church and commissions all in the new community of faith.  This study contains 16 video lessons lasting approximately 20 minutes each.  It is available on DVD for group study and on audio CD for individuals.
